So easy even a child can do it!
Some people love everything about a photo session: picking outfits, doing their makeup to perfection, “working it” for the camera, the whole nine yards.
Almost none of my clients are those people!
But I don’t need them to be! I’ve spent years learning how to get the best out of humans in front of the camera. Real humans, not Giselle or Kate Moss.
If you’re thinking…I don’t know what to wear.
Here’s what I want you to know: Upon booking I’ll send you a style and preparation guide with a ton of ideas. PLUS, I have a collection of dresses, skirts, and tops in sizes S through XL available for your use.
Wardrobe from my client closet!
If you’re thinking…I can’t do makeup.
Here’s what I want you to know: I have trusted makeup artists and hair stylists on speed dial and will set you up with one available in your area!
If you’re thinking…I feel like I’m going to be awkward.
Here’s what I want you to know: I’ve been in your shoes, I know how you feel, and I’ll tell you exactly what to do. If you can hug your horse, you have all the skills you need to rock your session.
Horse hugging is the only necessary prerequisite!
If you’re thinking… I hate how I look in photos.
Here’s what I want you to know: You won’t be the first client who tells me she’s not photogenic and she hates seeing photos of herself, but she loves her horse enough to give it a go. These clients always end up being the ones who love their photos from our session THE MOST.
If you’re thinking…I need to lose 15 pounds.
Here’s what I want you to know: This is a controversial topic, but I’ll tell you my honest thoughts. Many professional photographers will not do any body modifications out of principle, and I respect that school of thought. But it’s not my stance. I frequently do a little “nip tuck” on photos of myself, and I’ll edit your photos as though they’re my own, and/or to your specifications.
It’s me, with a little help from Photoshop, and I’m not sorry! ?
